Logan County Vets to D.C.

We escort Veterans to Washington D.C. to visit memorials built to honor their service to the nation. The trip to Washington D.C. is an all expense paid trip for the Veteran through donations from the community. All volunteers and companions pay their own way. Below is a small summary of the trip.

 

We load the buses at the Logan County Fairgrounds on a Friday morning and leave with a motorcycle and police escort out of town. Saturday we will spend the day escorting the Veterans to their respective memorials. The night concludes with a group dinner and gathering to discuss the trip. Sunday morning the buses are loaded for our return trip. There are many more activities that we keep as surprises for our Veterans.
